Forensic Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Due Diligence Reports, and Loss Investigation

Our investigations focus on determination of causes for diminished performance or failure. Our reports outline the problem with a detailed description by which the cause and contributory factors have been identified, and options for remedial action are provided.

JWM’s first task is to collect as much information about the building as possible: date and type of construction, available existing drawings, and other relevant information. We interview all persons who might have knowledge of the building's structural system, including maintenance staff, former contractors, and former architects/engineers.

We conduct visual conditions surveys and indicate probing if required. JWM is sensitive to the requirements of a building owner and we try to minimize the investigation disturbance. Our report summarizes our observations and findings, in addition to providing sound engineering opinions and recommendations.
